Avoid The Guess Work!

The what, the why and the how to exercise with osteoarthritis to build stable, stronger and more resilient knees

Exercising with Osteoarthritis Doesn't Need to be a Scarey Prospect.

Osteoarthritis can be painful. This is a reality we have to face, but  on the other hand it is also true that avoiding all exercise can also have a profound impact on our health (both physical and mental) as well. When we loose confidence in our knee we avoid movement and exercise because our knees hurt,  but then we get weaker and stiffer which can lead to more pain and more difficulty with daily tasks. It goes round and round and round...

You may be thinking...

"I know all this, my doctor/physical have made this clear but I don't know how! "

"I been told before that I need to strengthen my knees but I know i'll be paying the price tomorrow"

or

"The only control I have over my pain is to avoid the things that hurt".

And I understand this sentiment but unfortunately it can lead to more difficulty further down the line.

The problem is you have most likely received a cookie cut program that consisted of the same 5-6 exercises that are prescribed to everyone.

That's where working with me is set apart from the others.

You and I will work together to develop a plan that meets you at your level, we will discuss your goals and plans so that we can tailor to them. We will discuss your difficulties and limitations, and rather than dismissing them, we will discuss how we can best overcome them.

Over the next twelve weeks you can completely change you outlook of your knees, let's work together to get you moving.

Hi, I'm Tim

I started as a physiotherapist/physical therapist in 2012, working with clients that struggled with osteoarthritic knees,

I know that osteoarthritis sucks. That is something that has been made abundantly clear hearing all the stories of clients over the past 13 years. But what sucks even more are the stories of people that have been left feeling helpless and powerless over the condition. They have been given a diagnosis and been told there is nothing to do but wait for the unavoidable knee replacement. Perhaps they received the right advice from a well meaning doctor or specialist but no guidance or tools on how to manage the symptoms effectively.

I can't promise miracles but my goal is to put the reigns back in your hands. To show you what your knees can do.
